PIR Locations

Where are your PIR sensors to be located (Passive Infrared Sensors). PIR sensors are used to detect movement in spaces. The standard kit comes with 4 sensors. If you require additional sensors, you can add up to 4 more below.

Notes:

• Consider the rooms with external windows accessible from the ground floor.

• Include an additional sensor for upstairs rooms with any window above a flat roof like porch, conservatory or extension.

• We recommend having one sensor located on the landing upstairs.

Door Sensor Location

Door sensors are magnetic contacts that detect if a door is open or closed. The standard kit comes with 1 door sensor. You can add up to 4 more below.

Notes:

• Select the number of Exit doors which needs to be alert when the system is armed.

• Door sensors tell your smart alarm system if something is open or closed.

• You may want to consider other entrance doors for example if you use the utility door or back door as the main entrance to the property.
